Stoneage has been grounded 1994 in Massa by two young experts, which have been working for several years in the marble and granite transformation and commercialisation branch. The near Carrara, with its quarries and its ateliers, boasts an age-old tradition in the marble processing and quarrying area, as the marble branch did always represent a crucial economic source for the inhabitants.

Stoneage buys its materials by the most important Apuanian quarries and can pick out the different typical Carrara's marble sorts: from the most valuable, which are usually utilised for the inner rooms, to the less precious but more resistant, which are suggested for uses in outer rooms.

Beside the marble commercialisation, in blocks or slabs, the firm is able to supply marble and granite hand-workings for every kind of covering. Granite's great qualities of hardness and wear, make himself one of the most interesting and most utilised materials, both for inner and outer rooms. Thanks to the particular superficial treatments, which it undergoes, granite is adaptable to any kind of application.
